We are off and fundraising again!!! This time to the Inca Trail!!

http://www.justgiving.com/LyndseyandLisa

Last year we undertook the challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.  It was such an amazing experience and we’ve been touched by this amazing charity.  So much so that we’ve decided that once is never enough and we've undertaken another challenge in September 2013 - The Inca Trail in Peru.

The six day trek will cover 78km and take us to 4,200 amsl where we can relive the experience of altitude all over again!

A total of 40 hours trekking will take us deep into the Peruvian jungle as we follow the famous Inca Trail from Cusco to Machu Picchu.

The Inca Trail will present us with a new challenge....steps and lots of them....10,892 of them to be exact.  There is also a worrying section called “Dead Woman’s Pass”.

We are again raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  Most people's lives have been touched by cancer, and will know the fear and the pain and that sufferers and their families feel when it strikes.  This incredible charity provides care and support to people with terminal cancer in their own homes or in a hospice, wherever they choose.  This means they will be close to the people and surroundings they love.  The respite provided by Marie Curie nurses help make it possible for family members to care for their loved ones.  Just £20 provides an hour of valuable, much needed nursing care.

We are attempting to raise £10,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  Thank you for taking the time to read about our challenge and if you would like to visit our JustGiving page, whether you can give a little or a lot, we can guarantee it will help someone who needs it.
